QUALITY PRODUCTS

1. Quality.
The goods should be genuine, fresh and unadulterated, free from rancidity, infestation, bad odour, lumpiness and all contaminations. The goods should not differ in any manner from the general physical characteristics of the material concerned in terms of appearance, colour, smell or taste and should conform to the specifications attached.

2. Visual Inspection.
When the goods arrive, the buyer shall have the option to draw at least 10 bags randomly and empty them completely to examine the material visually for general quality and characteristics and obvious defects such as Wetness, Adulteration, Discoloration, Lumpiness, Infestation, Foul smell, Contamination, oil contend and presence of insect . If the material is found to be substandard, then buyer may reject the complete lot or any part of it on the spot without unloading.

3. Sampling.

If the material passes the above test, the buyer shall have the option to draw representative sample as per standard procedure.

4. Sealed Samples.
The representative sample drawn by the buyer as per the standard shall be divided into 4 parts and all such samples will be sealed at buyer's place for analysis. Out of sealed samples, one shall be given to the supplier's representative, if asked for; one sample will be forwarded to the buyer's laboratory. The buyer will retain other 2 samples as reference samples for a period of 4 weeks from the date of sampling.

5. Analysis and Acceptance.
(a). Sealed sample will be analyzed in buyer's laboratory and its result will be communicated by the buyer to supplier's representative/broker through whom the purchase has been made by ordinary post.
(b). If the seller does not communicate in writing non-acceptance of buyer's laboratory report within 7 days of receipt of the report, the analysis result shall be deemed to be final and binding on both parties to the contract.


6. Effective data.

This general terms and conditions are applicable with effect from 1st January 2007
